The Scrap Kins started from a love of drawing. As a kid I drew monsters every day. It wasn’t until many years later that I figured out what to do with them. (Thanks Mom for saving them!) Thats when I created the world of The Scrap Kins and made the original characters heroes of their own eco-minded adventures.

Brian Yanish Designs is a New York-based design and illustration studio specializing in kid’s character design and content creation. In his 10 years experience, Yanish has worked for Jim Henson Productions in Los Angeles, trained as a special effects moldmaker, has written and performed comedy, designed educational CD-ROMs and developed products for major children's brands.
